I have no idea what I am looking at! The icon you call battery full, I took to be a solar panel.

The Sun does not 'connect' to a battery! A controller connects to a battery.

Voltage will be a better indicator on your battery condition. (press the B button)

If you see voltage above 14.2 some time during the day you are in good shape.

You're asking if the numbers are good, bad or ugly. And the answer is.... it depends. :) For example, if you have a roughly 40W panel, 2A output in full sun is good; but if you have 200W of solar panels, 2A is ugly.

Why can’t you use the controller’s readouts to determine SOC? When your panels are in good sunlight and only 2 to 2.5 amps is following, the batteries are full and the amps that are indicated are powering static loads....fridge, clocks, lights, alarms etc.

Unless some loads are on the solar controller's load terminals. :)

Main thing is not to confuse folks into thinking they can use the controller's readouts to get a battery bank's SOC, which some apparently do, not knowing any better.

One of the controllers has a second part to it that is battery only and it does the subtraction so you don't need another monitor--Kid? I'll try and find that and edit in a link.

Of course you must put everything through the shunt, same as with a battery monitor.
