can I seperate the 12 volt from the 110 system?

Yeah. Fulltimer with a problem. I am pretty sure my converter is shot. My question is can I Seperate the 12 volt system from the 110 system? I can use lamps for lighting. But would really like to...

Hey thanks for the info. I just looked at the main breaker Pannel and there is a breaker labeled "portable Appliances" I shut this breaker off. The others are:
Main, Air Conditioner, and General Purpose. I don't know what general purpose
stands for.
