It is amazing and confusing. I needed a convertor/charger for my motorhome. My RV dealer/mechanic gave me a price of $450 through their supplier. I found an upgrade replacement on line for $299 with free shipping. I also found a new invertor replacement on line for $277 with free shipping where they wanted $464.
Not sure why (haven't asked) but it seems that they only use one supplier for needed parts. I am lucky in that they have no problem installing items that I find cheaper on line. And the easy part is that I have the items shipped directly to them.
