The knobs/locks were rusted into place on my awning. I started shopping for new ones. I found them! The knob replacements are about $8.00 a set. The shipping for the 5oz items costd about 14.00 to 18....

I have run into plenty of situations especially on ebay and amazon where an attractive price led to shipping charges that summed to an amount far in excess of what a retail store charges. No I am not talking about sending a Steinway in a padded envelope. On some sites, a four step process with a lot of forms filled out wasted 15 minutes to reveal the vendor on the final page before purchase, is a huckster.
