Salt air makes pot metal and aluminum grow fuzzy deposits. With micro air and fuel passages you don't stand a chance with mouse-milk additives like Sea Foam.
I used to disassemble carburetors. Prepare a pot of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water on the stove in a stainless steel pan. Add one cup of table salt. Boil it until the salt dissolves. Immerse the parts and BOIL for twenty minutes. Rinse in another pot of boiling water, this one clear water. It worked great most of the time.
