Can't turn stove knobs

Haven't used the stove in a while. Go to heat up a can of soup, and I can't turn the knobs. Typical push in and twist setup - except they'll push in, but not turn. Pulled a knob off & tried the Gerber - any harder twisting, and I'm afraid I'll bend the knob seat.

Any ideas? Getting hungry.

    15 years. As a bachelor chef, I don't cook much. I realized later I've got an MRE heater in the pantry.

    Probably a Wedgewood DV 20 model. Regardless, you need to replace the valves. How old is the unit? Doug

    It's a Wedgewood by Atwood, or an Atwood by Wedgewood.

    Two burner propane stove, outboard & aisle, w/ the two knobs just forward, next to the sink.

    Haven't been in a lot of other RVs, didn't realize this one was different. Will post the manufacturer shortly, the model # is inside, will have to wait after the gun show.
