changing from 2 12volt batteries to 1 12v battery

I am thinking on changing from 2 27 series batteries to 1 31 series interstate battery. We seldom dry camp except when spending the night at a Walmart when we're traveling to and from our snowbird loc...

I think the point of going to a larger physical size is because physical size almost always coinsides w/ AH capacity.

Yes, a 31 should do the job for single overniters just fine.
