In my line of work, I often find myself well beyond that safe radius... and often with clients in the car.
The trip in the OP was to a town about half-way to some of the distances I run to. And definitely no O'Reilly's around. Fortunately no clients in the car... this time.
Now if the car was carbureted... with a magneto...
