Charging Battery More Efficiently

It will do 125 amps from a 15 amp shore power. I do not know about the time settings. I did not note the voltage. I do know you can 'dial back' the input amperage.

Including holding the voltage at max absorbsion settings .5 - 4-hours adjustable time?

Give someone a nickel for their Trace 2500SB inverter. It is the SOLE battery charger made available to the public that can REPEATEDLY charge a battery from discharged to full, then float at the correct voltage. 120-amps. And it is now, what, 15-years out of production (ever since Preparation X, Xantrax bought out Trace). Too big for generator? DIAL THE OUTPUT POTENTIAL BACK WITH A KNOB. Inverter manufacturers should go into the R&D department, hide the bong, and get serious.

Power pedestal and generator charging is two different things - right from the word "go"

Batteries love to be maintained by float charging one they're full. But doing that on a generator is out of the question. With a generator, float charging takes you right down the rabbit hole to the realm of Solar Panel.

By far the most expensive way to charge batteries is using a generator, so using an appropriate voltage to get as many amps into the bank as quickly as possible is the goal.

At a pedestal, multi stage or 13.2 volts both work well.

AGM have a different charging profile, depending on the maker. They generally have much lower internal resistance. It is best to follow the maker's recommendations.
