Charging from truck charging system

Have a 2014 W&P and for the most part have had very few issues until this week.

1. When going down road the battery will not stay charged by truck Alt.
270 amp. Alt can handle this.

The refer will not stay running any longer on battery so have to use LP and at times won't have enough juice to keep igniter working.

Battery is a good.
Any thoughts?

2. LED strip light ov r slid out does not work at all. I thought when one LED went out the others would still work.

All fuses are good and this Jan's nothing to do with issue mentioned above.
  • If it worked fine before it broke and works fine for you after you fixed it you are ready to rumble.

It's all a matter of perspective though. Works fine for some does not mean a similar system will work for everyone. Just clearing the air :)
  • Why doesn't he run it on propane? The battery has plenty to keep it going for a lot of miles.
If not enough battery cables and boxes are cheap.
I'm not sure of the size of the Ford wiring but it had a large 20 amp fuse, under the hood on the towable charge circuit. Had a hard time finding one, after dealer tried to raise the fifth wheel off the truck charging circuit. They had run down the house batteries.
Ours ran on the Charging circuit and Fifth Wheel onboard propane tanks.
