Cleaning caliper pistons
Am rebuilding the calipers on the Dayton dual piston brakes. I have the pistons out and need to clean the scorched on brown stuff off. Any suggestions?

Not sure what you got going on there, but sometimes you can wire up the caliper so as to take the weight off of the hose.
I'm replacing all the hoses and pulling calipers to rebuild. Original problem was overheating brakes possibly due to the 25 year old hoses failing.
