If you see no leaks(probably not since the previous owner had the same problem), you have (depending on the brand of the slide system/pump), a solenoid at the pump leaking internally or the slide cylinder/s are leaking internally. It is also possible one of the electric solenoids AT the pump is not shut tight. They usually have a manual release on the solenoid. Your time frame points to a not tight solenoid. Most rooms that drift, takes 10 to 24 hours and usually only a few inches. Hyd rooms require constant pressure to stay open and retracted. How far does the room retract? Doug
