Coleman Mach - No cold air

I have a 2009 Fuzion with a 15k Coleman Mach. I'm pretty mechanical but not much of an AC background.

The fan on the unit will turn on and it sounds like the compressor is kicking on fine but the air never cools. I can turn the thermostat to fan only and the compressor turns off but the air is the same temp. It acts like it's just plain out of freon but I know these are a closed system.

Any ideas? Everybody is booked around here on RV repairs or I'd just take it in.
  • Yeah it seems easier just to buy a new unit and throw it on. Thanks.
  • Service valves can be added to system.........at a cost (parts/labor)
Then leak has to be found and fixed...........at a cost (labor)
    Then system recharged.........................at a cost (parts/labor)

    15K Coleman Mach.....under $600
    You remove old/install new
  • Ugh...that's what I was afraid of. Are there any part replacements that can be done or is it just easier to buy a new AC unit?
  • Fan runs...compressor runs...........no cold air.

Then freon has leaked out of that 'closed system' (closed system means NO valves installed for recharging unit)
