I mentioned this on a similar thread, take the cover off and clean all the spade tips. There is also a thermal overload sensor in there that may need replacing, it is cheap part and will shut down the compressor if it detects overheating or its faulty & shorting out. I replaced mine a couple of years back and it fixed the problem. If I recall its a black disk with a pair of wire s leading to it. I think if you unplug it and the compressor comes on, its the problem (or maybe its the other way around, you need to short it out)
