The simple way to run a laptop and hot spot is a Universal 12 volt power supply DC to DC converter.
Use the USB port on the power supply for the hot spot. Or use the USB port on the LT to power the hot spot.
This will not work if you have a Dell or HP laptop. They use a propitiatory power supply, with 3rd lead.
