both my previous 'ice n easy' and this Emerson maker work fine from the Trip-lite inverter or the champion generator, no problems with stopping if full
do you have any 'radio' equipment or other electronics that could be causing interference ?
that sensor is going to be on Dc volts, should not be a Hz/freq problems
most optical sensors are 'infrared' ? got a range extender or anything for the TV , dvd, sat box etc..?
LED lighting right above the window OF the ice machine ?
maybe a location change ? or cover the window ?
