Cummins EC-30W
We would like to install a Cummins EC-30W in our 2013 Itasca Sunstar because we want to insure that we always have power to the air condition for our pets when they are left alone.
Currently we have to manually move the coach power supply plug between the generator and shore line when we want to use one or the other. Do I need to have an automatic transfer switch installed before I can use the EC-30W to allow us to have the EC-30W start the generator and have the air conditioner run off the generator if the plug is plugged into the shoreline (and the shoreline power is out) or does the harness that everyone has mentioned in other posts do this for us?
