Everytime I hear the words "I have just replaced the battery" makes ask about your connections...
Find the words 'NEG' or the SYMBOL '-' on the battery case and make sure this is the terminal that goes to the trailer FRAME GROUND...
If those were installed wrong even for a a couple of seconds you may have blown some in-line fuses between the battery and the 12VDC Power Distribution panel. You may have also blown the two 'REVERSE POLARITY' fuses usually mounted on the 12VDC DISTRIBUTION PANEL...
A multimeter is handy to start at the battery and see where you lose the 12VDC when NOT connected to the shore power.
Both the 120VAC powered up CONVERTER/CHARGER 12VDC OUTPUT and the 12VDC BATTERY leads feed the same lugs on the 12VDC DISTRIBUTION PANEL...
I usually am aware of my 12.5-6 VDC across my battery terminals telling me the battery is pretty close to being fully charged. When I plug my trailer into the shore power connections I should see this DC VOLTAGE jump up to 13.6VDC at the battery terminals telling me the on-board converter/charger unit is working and all of the fuses etc including the DC DISCONNECT switch are all good and engaged.
Since the 12VDC system is the heart of the RV UNIT it behooves us all to learn all of the things to look for to determine what the 12VDC status is at any given time...
