Dertermine Rear End Gear Ratio
Is there a way to determine what rear end gear ratio (4.10, 3.73, 3.55) etc is actually in your truck. Sticker on glove box says 3.55 but I have reason to believe that the gears may have been changed...

You should mark the drive shaft and BOTH tires. Turn BOTH rear tires one revolution and count the drive shaft turns. If the drive shaft turns slightly more than three and a half times the ratio is 3.55-1.
