Device on rear wall
On heartland pioneer 250 at top of rear wall near clearance light there is a thing that looks like camera what is it

- Its the mount to add a camera most likely. Mine has it also.
- Here is a typical camera install on the rear of this unit... Note the angle it is pointing down which eliminates the monitor to flair up when used at night from approaching cars headlights...

- Are you the original owner, or was there a previous owner.
If it had a previous owner, maybe they added a security system that sent images to their cell phone. Of course, they left the camera, but took the hardware.
Is this inside or outside the camper?
If this is outside and you are not the original owner, then it's probably a back-up system camera someone else added. - It is on travel trailer nothing in the paperwork mentioned it
