Camper forum reports this is Ford only feature, when other brands have power on all the time.
For those transferring fuel while driving -beware that fuel gauges have time delay to prevent needle jumping.
Once I had aux tank on my bed and feed a hose to main tank. With small hose flow was slow, so I drove with it - observing fuel gauge.
The main tank was still showing 3/4 when I noticed fuel spraying from the fill tube, meaning the tank was full.
The gauge resets when you cycle ignition, but when on, it is subject to the delay.
