I don't have a 3500 but just trying to point out that some of the settings need to be correct. The dish type is the most critical. In my case selecting HD on a SD dish produced errors.
Do you get anything on the signal meter? Just thinking that if the dish switches are set to some other vendor you would see a good signal.
