Discharge hose for macerator

The bigger the hose (up to about 1") the better the pump will work.

I'd not use a WHITE hose for the macerator.. In fact I DO use a BLACK hose.
I also have a GRAY hose for #2 Gray tank.

White is for drinking from.

Yes, but I hope there is a little "wriggle room" built in there. I use 75' of 3/4" hose (not flat) on a horizontal area, no uphill.

The guy who posted that he burned up his pump said he was using A COUPLE OF HUNDRED FEET OF LAY FLAT HOSE! That is 2/3 of a football field, and the pump had to also provide enough pressure to hold the hose inflated while doing it!

I use a 1” lay flat discharge hose with my macerater all the time when dumping at home and it works just fine.

It is smaller than I expected but it does work. What it doesn't work well for is slow-draining the gray tank.

The hose you selected will work fine IMO.

2oldman...I see by your review on Amazon that the hose is smaller id then you expected. Does it still work alright as a discharge hose? Even going 35-40 ft?

The one campground where i would use the macerator the most is set up for MH's. When I back in all my hookups are on the wrong side and my sewer hookup is at least 30 ft. from my outlet. I don't want to carry 50' of hose but due to circumstances I really don't have a choice. This is usually a 14 day stay and 10 hours away from home so we are loaded and storage becomes an issue. I guess I could always make the room to save some $$$. Thanks. I'll take a look at the one 2oldman posted.
