disconnect solar panel when running portable generator

Leave everything hooked up. It will all work fine together. Both chargers are aiming for a certain charge voltage which hopefully is fairly similar. One's charging won't change what the other is doing. You could have 4 or 5 sources of charge all connected at once. It will work fine.
