Once again, I can add that I rarely hear anything bad about Discount Tire. I've only dealt with them for little things like that Dill passenger car valve stem replacement program a few years ago. That was for family out of town and Discount didn't have a store at home. I went there with a flat and they said it was unrepairable. Sales pitch, maybe, but they offered me a used tire free to get me by till I could plan the replacements.
It was a number of years ago, but Tire Kingdom (part of the group that's Big-O and I don't know who all else) told me tires were considered out of warranty after what I considered a few years. Four, if I recall. Makes sense, with so many of us RVers saying "Replace at Five Since they're MayPops." Four years is probably reasonable for passenger cars, daily drivers, we're likely to wear the tires out in that time anyhow.
We've been using Sam's Club for the light vehicles, and I'll check with them when we need RV tires, but Discount's looking better all the time.
