Divorced battery bank wiring?
Forgive me if this has been covered, I could not come up with search terms that gave me the answer I was looking for. If I have 4 6 volt batteries, 2 near the power distrabution center and 2 20 fee...

Are you talking in terms of balancing the charge/draw between all of the batteries? Theoretically, I would tie each pair together for 2 12v pairs, then tie the two pairs together for double the current, then hook positive to one pair, negative to the other. This will add 20 feet of cable required and add 20 feet of cable to the entire system. I think I would be tempted to use an a/b switch instead, or accept that they will not be balanced.
