There is nothing wrong with using the Dave Root kit, but I believe you can do it much cheaper. All you need is the sealant and the spacer.
If you go to ebay, and put "C.R. LAURENCE 877 CRL Super Spacer Sealant" (without the quotes) into the search box, you will see sources for buying the sealant and will also see sources for buying the spacer. The spacer comes in 1/4 inch and 3/16 inch sizes, so you need to measure the space between the glass on your current window.
It is not technically difficult to do this repair yourself. There are some video's on you tube. I documented my repair in a pdf file that you can get from the link below. Look for the file named "fogged window repair".
