2 hours on generator in the morning, to get MW running and bring the batts up to 70-80% is what people do - if they don't have enough solar (and battery capacity). You must have both high-current inverter and high capacity, to run MW.
You won't fully recharge batteries in those two hours, it would take 2 times longer to come even close. So, to get "closer", people run solar for the rest of the day. Or they don't. Then they stay at 70-80% until they get home and put it on shore power for a few days, and tell everybody that topping battery off is over-rated :). Upgrading controller is a must.
I see Sola "regulador" in my future, when I will need A/C and AC.
