Slide out and back in. Electric awning in and out daily, HRS of radio daily. Lights as needed including a 16 ft outside awning light at dinner time. I guess I am a bit different. I want to push my system to get a feel for what I can expect from it.
Although I dislike generators to the point I won't use one. I think in your case it is your best option. If a automatic converter is what you want get a Iota converter mount it close to the battery bank plug directly to the generator. Leave the Wfco for at home maintaining the bank. I'm sure glad I can get away with solar though (:
