Docking Station

I've posted this on a couple of other forums a few months ago and only found 1 or 2 RV owners with similar setups. Hoping there may be some on here.
Keystone has modified the docking station. They have taken the fresh water gravity feed hole out. Now it has only a female fitting for a hose to screw to .. to use city water or fill water tank. There is a lever to rotate to indicate which you want to do. That is all well and good. BUT! My predicament is... I haven't found a way to fill the FW tank if there is no water faucet to hook a hose to. We do allot of boondocking and am trying to figure out how to get water into the fresh water tank from a 5 gallon jug. Tried thru the went hole ...no success, water stated coming back out cuz couldn't get water in & air out at the same time.
I've been talking with dealer & have been trying to email with Keystone CS. Dealer has no clue & say they'll check into it...yeah right & Keystone hasn't returned any emails so their fixing to get some phone calls (Keystone is PMO).
Does anybody have this type setup for their water hookup or any ideas how one might get water in the tank without a 40 or 50 PSI faucet nearby?
Rig is a 2014 Keystone Xlite 26SAB. Other than this annoyance it's a fantastic rig.

    How about an electric or hand pump that mounts on a 5 gallon bucket with a hose connection for the rv

    If it is like my Class C, there are two levers and another inlet for winterizing. I attach a hose to the winterize inlet and start the pump to suck water out of the jug, then switch to fill position and the pump continues to pump water out of the 5 gallon jug in to the FW tank. Works great, much easier than trying to pour water into the gravity feed fill inlet I had on my TT.

    Sorry ... only one lever and have to use same inlet to winterize that's used for city water & FW tank fill.

    OK, you may have already tried this, but how about setting it up to winterize, starting the pump and then flip the lever to fill? The RV pump should keep on pumping and the water will be diverted to the FW tank.

    Thanks ..that's the only thing I haven't tried yet but was thinking in that direction. I just gotta milo engineer a setup for it.

    I don't have the same setup, but I sometimes need to fill from a 6 gallon jug and it is too heavy to pick up to the gravity fill. I bought a cheap water pump that mounts on an electric drill and use a battery operated drill. Short hose into jug and short hose into fill spout. While I can't say for sure it would work for you, it wouldn't cost much to try. Got the pump from Harbor Freight Tools.

    On my new 28RDB, I have the same dilemma as the OP. Milo, did you find a good solution?

    I'm going to try to rig up a short hose that threads into the intake and then I can attach to a spout to add in water--think of a very big water bandit type thing. What I don't know yet is whether the water will have enough force pouring in to go past the petcock valve inside. If not, then I will try one of the pump solutions.

    RV designed by non-RVers. Ours is the same way. We don't boondock enough to make a difference, but gee... RV can generate power, refrigerate on LPG, store sewage, but NOT fill water...

    Friend of mine has a spare water pump from his previous RV. Throw the suction line into the 5 gallon jug, and hook the pressure line to the inlet.

    My Coachmen class C has a somewhat similar setup. Although I haven't actually tried it myself, I believe setting the valves to winterize and opening the fill valve allows it to suck water (via the winterize inlet) and deposit it into the RV tank. The valves, etc. are even labeled "winterize/suction fill" or something similar. If you have both a winterize port setup and a single water connection for both filling and city water use, the RV maker would have to add unnecessary extra parts to prevent this from working.
