Usually a fridge will cool better when running on propane as opposed to electricity. I usually have to change to a cooler temp setting when running on electric.
Not so, What DOES affect operation on 120 is the LINE voltage. If the Line voltage is low due to lots of Rv'ers in the CG, that will lower the efficiency of the refer von 120. AS long as the 120 voltage is over 114 volts and the LP pressure is at 11.5, BOTH modes will operate the refer the same. The ONLY difference is start up. LP will start cooling faster. BUT, the 120 element will be at operating temp within 10 minutes, so LP has a 10 minute start:B This is why it is a good idea to monitor your 120 line voltage. If it drops, then switch to LP to get the best refer performance. Both LP and 120 have almost identical BTU's of heat for cooling operation. They are designed to operate the same on both modes. Doug
