OEM did not pay...at least not yet. I'm waiting to hear back from them. I agree that some of the previous technicians ought to have investigated further. When the issues first started to surface I called Pacific Coachworks and was told the refrigerator warranty problems need to be dealt with via Dometic. I never considered a design/manufacturing flaw. The refrigerator is installed in a fixed location, not in a slide.
As expensive as refers are I would think before a full replace and a cooling unit second replacement that everything else would be checked prior. For a piece of scrap wood that costs maybe a dollar you had a refer and a cooling unit replaced? You indicated that they checked the vent for obstructions, the flame was good, etc. Nobody when checking the vent noticed the (not) baffle especially with the refer out of the coach? And now while somebody is obviously responsible; nobody will take responsibliity. Amazing!!
