Dometic ac not cycling properly
My ac unit is not cycling like it should. It will cut on when you first cut it on but them it will reach the temp you have it set at and cut off but then when the temp rises it may cut on and may not....

The thermostat tells the A/C unit to run or shut off. If the thermostat tells the A/C unit to run, and it DOES NOT RUN, the problem is likely with the a/c unit. HOWEVER it it most likely a bad thermostat. Incorrect wiring between the thermostat and the a/c unit is always a possibility.
My suggestion is to replace your thermostat with a cheap digital model from WM or similar source for about $20. Digital thermostats control the temp much more closely than other thermostats. Lots of information about digital thermostats if you search.
