noplace and old guy, i filled the fridge and put it on it's coldest setting on electric and made sure everything was nice and cold before we left. we drove the first day opening the fridge once to make lunch and by the end of the day it was warm. ran it on propane all night but it was only enough to get the food cool, not cold. we didn't open it at all the second day and by the end of the day of driving the food was ruined.
granted we were driving through the desert and it was just over 100 degrees but what's the point of having a fridge if it won't keep my food cold while i'm on the road?
i understand turning it off when i fuel up but there is no one riding in the camper and we have propane and carbon monoxide detectors in there so what's the danger?
