Dometic refrigerator not turning on after power outage

Hi. I've come across an issue with my Forest River Windjammer travel trailer. There was a power outage in the area where I am currently parked. I'm hooked up to the 50 amp outlet at an RV park, as I was when the power went out. After the power was restored, everything in the RV came back on and seems to be functioning normally, except for the refrigerator. It is a Dometic model number DMR702. Specifically, when I press the on/off button, the lights on that button, the mode button, and the temp selector area all come on as expected, but then the temp selector lights blink a few times, and then all the lights go out. I think, based on nothing but a feeling, that the blinks are an error code that would tell me something about what is wrong if only I could find some reference to those lights online or in my user manual. But, I've been unable to do so. I have checked to make sure that propane gas is able to get to the stove, just to make sure that it is likely that propane is able to get to the refrigerator. I've check the circuit breakers and fuses and they are fine. So, I'm stumped. Anyone have experience with this issue, or have any suggestion about what I should or could do to fix it? Thank you in advance for your comments.

  • Error Codes:
The codes are displayed by flashing temperature setting LEDs.
After having solved the problem, turn refrigerator OFF and then back ON. The refrigerator will return to normal operation.

    3 LEDS

1st LED flashing-----------Disconnected gas valve or hardware fault in the gas operation system.

1st & 2nd LED flashing-----Overheating thermostat is disconnected. •The cooling unit has been overheated. Service is required.•

2nd LED flashing-----------A faulty temperature sensor device or a fault in the associated electronic circuitry has occurred. Make sure the sensor wire is connected.

3rd LED flashing-----------DC voltage is out of range (exceeds or drops below the limit values approx. 8-18V DC).

ALL 3 LEDs flashing--------No communication between display and power module.
  • We have a Norcold so I'm not sure this will help...but I found this for Dometic units.
Maybe you missed these fuses when you checked.

    FUSES
The refrigerator is equipped with 3 fuses, two fuses in
the power module and one in-line blade fuse.
    Power module
To replace fuse(s) proceed as follows.
    1. Disconnect the wall plug, and the 12 volt wires.
    2. Remove the power module cover. .
    3. Snap the fuse out of the fuse holder.
    4. Fit a new fuse in to the fuse holder.
    5. Replace the power module cover
