Dometic RM3663 problem

I have a 1998 Fleetwood Caribou truck camper with a Dometic RM 3663 fridge mounted on the driver side at the front of the camper unit. Bought the unit 2 years ago and have fought this problem since. Fridge works great on AC, and on LP when parked, but LP flame will not stay on when underway. This is my 3rd truck camper and I've had 3 motorhomes and never had this issue before - I have always traveled with fridge on gas. I've tried everything I can think of including; partially covering the fridge's air intake vent, totally covering it, covering the vent with plenty of air flow from the bottom, covering the vent with air flow from the rear, each vent opening louvered, etc. I'm stumped! Anyone else had and resolved this problem?
  • We're the refrigerators on the Drivers or Passengers side on Your previous rigs?

The reason I ask is there may be something about the baffles and airflow that is causing he problem.Maybe there is a problem with the air flow moving across the burner when the direction of travel is opposite.

    Just a thought!
