Your year/model refer has what is called a BYPASS LP tstat. That means you have 2 tstats
1. Is the 120 tstat
2. Is the lp bypass tstat and what this does is--it is on FULL flame when cooling. When it reaches the set temp, the LP pressure is "Bypassed" to a lower pressure and the flame then goes down to what you might call a "pilot" flame. It stays lit but does not have the Heat to continue cooling. You just need a new LP tstat. Doug
