dometic rooftop Air conditioner

My ac compressor will not stay running long enough to cool unit. we replaced the control box, and thermostat. that didnt work, so we replaced the whole unit with a new ac! still happening with new unit. it seems to be getting hot, and popping the breaker.the compressor runs for a minute then shuts down.

    You have replaced the COMPLETE system and still have the same problem. The problem HAS to be 120 voltage supply problem. Doug

    Low voltage = High amps. Check all connections on A/C power and breaker panels, That is were I would start.

    I have read on the forums that one other owner had problems similar to what you are describing. He figured out the cold air was blowing directly on the thermostat and shutting the ac down for a while and then back on for just a minute... Might be worth a shot for you to test yours.
