one black and one white main camper wires
black is hot/plus white is negative/ground for the camper
make sure you have those (2) wires correct
you should disconnect all wires
and try each pair separately connected to the batteries
to verify polarity and every thing working
red & black could be the jacks, but that is NOT a 'given'
