I have tried to follow doug's advice but when I responded with my findings as he instructed he did not make another suggestion after 3 days of waiting. I also realize that this is just a voluntary place not his responsibility but hoped to get an answer to find the problem.
I have now gotten into the breaker box for 120V and did a continunity check on the both of the A/C and main breakers and all is well there. How can I determine why the A/C upstairs is not getting power if it has incoming voltage and the rear working box doesn't improve the function when moved there?
If you read all of the suggestions that have been made here I would think the fault could have been found.
