UPDATE: purchased the duo therm brisk air II from ppl in Houston, tx. they had a sale price of $499 for the ac unit and sale price for the non ducted roof controls for around $75. installed it and everything is working fine. I will say the highest fan speed (#3) is slightly louder than my coleman two speed fan, but man does it blow! lol now just waiting for all of the rain to stop and for us to habe one of those sweltering hot se tx days to see how it really performs.
