Eventually the turn signals will start to work again, but I don't know if it's due to cycling them over and over or just a certain period of time but it can take an hour or two for them to get back to normal.
Needless to say I don't use the hazards any longer. I replaced the flasher relay with no change.
Voodoo - what makes the heavy duty flasher better than a standard one for his issue?
When I drove big rigs we couldn't use a standard car flasher, they would not work. Too many lights I'd guess. The all had heavy duty ones in. The work like a little motor instead of by heat.
