we have both a heated blanket and a heated mattress pad
NO ..not used at the same time
we loved the pad when we had a regular mattress
but when we switched to the memory foam mattress, the heated pad between us and the mattress changed the way we slept, the mattress did not conform to us as well, they respond to body heat, the pad created more even heat across the pad, making less body response
we switched to an electric blanket (use when needed), and now sleep the same as when not needed
