We use a Sunbeam electric blanket. It goes under the mattress cover and fitted sheet. We keep it on low and it works beautifully. On battery the draw is minimal. Very minimal. We do the same thing at home and have done it for years. No need to spend a fortune or do without because of battery power. Our solar keeps things going during the day.
