Electric toaster <600 watts

A toaster of less than 600 watts would be useful to me for my particular inverter. Anyone know of one?

Our cheapie 2 slicer uses 740W, just too high. I looked at trying to cut or switch off one side. Unfortunately it's not a simple as that. The center run of heating wire is common to both sides, wrapped around a divider. Shutting off the remaining one half of one side might get under 600W, but it would be close. I searched for a one slice toaster, and they existed 50-60 years ago, but not now.

Please, first person to say they use the stove, grill, toasting gadget for same, etc., gets it! :)
I'm well aware of those options.

I know what you mean. Try asking about coffee!!
  • reason for the low wattage ?

overloaded circuit OR want to use existing inverter

the first is easy turn something off for a few minutes

the second.. maybe use a buck transformer between the toaster and the inverter supplied outlet..knock down the voltage 10~20% knock down the wattage, toasters are resistive heat..reduce the voltage and the power load goes down

    that or a bigger inverter
