Electric

Electric outlets work when generator is on but stop as soon as generator turned off. The battery is switched on. Any suggestions?

    Agreeing with QCMan, we need a bit more info.

    But generally as he said your electric outlets and air conditioner are 120 v AC and will only work when plugged in to shore power or with a generator. The rest of the coach (lights, water pump, furnace etc) is 12v DC Battery powered.

    Plugging in to shore power will start to recharge your batteries.

    I’ll guess. You don’t have an inverter, so the AC receptacles should not work when unplugged from shore power or genny turned off.
