I have 300W solar/300 AH batteries. Some days I would have enough extra power to brew a cup or two of coffee. Others I wouldn't. For me the above solution is quick, convenient, and easy to clean up. Fill coffee mug right to brim with water, pour into small saucepan, boil, and pour thru coffee dripper into the mug. Discard filter and grounds, rinse.
Well, that beats my plastic funnel by a long shot. :B
Sometimes, I'll just brew Cowboy coffee. Throw the ground coffee in a pot of hot water and let steep. I splash in a half cup of cold water to sink the grounds, pour, and enjoy.
