Is the main circuit breaker (30 amp) on the negative phase battery cable? If not, there has to be sufficient current in the circuit to which it protects for it to trip.
Yes, 30 AMP breaker is on the "+" lead going to the trailers charger / distribution panel.
This morning I took two small bottles of water out of the refrigerator to make two cups of coffee in the Kurig. The water is at 40 degrees.
This machine drew 55 ampd for three minutes to heat the water, then switched to 2 amp draw as it forced the water through the Kurig cup. The coffee was very hot. Too hot for my liking. I had to wait a couple minutes to drink it.
I'll do a video to show all of this tomorrow morning. I'll compare to my Kurig machine here in the house. Should be interesting.
To say I'm impressed with this $60 machine is an understatement.
I recently bought one of these to use when motorcycle camping. A Kurig machine than needs no electricity....Just hot water and K-Cups
