First, the converter does not have any 30/50 amp feed. The converter converts 120 vac to dc power to keep the battery charged, and to power the 12v needs of the camper.
The loss of 240v power could be anything from a faulty power cord to ???
Since you have a voltmeter check the voltage at the circuit breakers. Be careful, 240v can kill you. If you have any reservations about troubleshooting 240vac, you should have an RV repair person fix your problem.
