always unplug from shore power, turn off generator

What I think happened was that I "started", and I say I started to hook up the cables in reverse polarity which caused the convertor fuses and the stereo fuse to blow. I saw a small spark as I began to hook up and stopped. I think this is when the fuses blew. I've been sitting here working from the lake on my laptop all morning and everything else seems to be working as it should be.
